Ondo Guber: Aiyedatiwa Woos Riverine Communities, Makes Key Pledges

The Ondo state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has promised communities in the coaster region of the state better infrastructure facilities if reelected in the November 16 gubernatorial election in the state.

Aiyedatiwa, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the off-circle election, pledged on Tuesday during his campaign tour of Ese-Odo Local Government Area.

The governor took his campaign to Bolowou, Arogbo Kingdom, Kiribo, Igbotu and Igbobini where he expressed his deep appreciation for the support for his administration and promised to reciprocate their trust with impactful projects and policies.

At Igbobini, where he met a mammoth crowd, the Governor promised that his administration would continue to initiate more developmental projects across the state if elected to retain power.

Aiyedatiwa solicited the support of the people, urging them to troop out en-masse by ensuring they exercise their franchise without fear, asking his supporters not to relent in their house-to-house campaign for his victory in the election.

He said: โ€œI want to thank you for your patience as we gathered here today. I salute your love, unity and support for us and the party. I will reciprocate this gesture after the election.

โ€œNo doubt, we have initiated many projects and we will do more. Our roads, schools and hospitals are receiving attention. We have also ensured there is security in the state.

โ€œWe are also employing more teachers in the school. So, come November 16, you must troop out en masse and vote for our party (APC) in the election.โ€

The Ondo State governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has declared that the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has gone into extinction in the state.

Governor Aiyedatiwa declared that the People Democratic Party (PDP) was going into extinction in the state.

The governor said the leading opposition party was too weak to win the forthcoming governorship election since all the gladiators in the party were now with the APC ahead of the poll.

According to him the peopleโ€™s support and loyalty to his administration had continued to make the ruling party wax stronger in the state.
