Over 500 Exhibitors From 76 Countries To Participate In ACCI Food Expo

The President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (ACCI) Emeka Obegolu, on Thursday launched the inaugural Farm, Food, and Allied Technologies (FARMFATECH) Expo 2024.

The expo is set to attract participants from 76 countries, featuring over 500 exhibitors with a targeted audience of 500,000.

Agrotech or Agricultural technology is the application of techniques in agriculture, horticulture, and aquaculture to improve yield, efficiency, and profitability.

ACCI in collaboration with Autodex Nigeria Limited and Afreximbank, said the expo seeks to revolutionize agricultural innovation and strengthen partnerships, particularly between Nigeria and China.

โ€œThis Expo is designed to foster international partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and catalyze substantial business transactions that will drive growth within Nigeriaโ€™s agricultural sector.

โ€œHere, we bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore transformative investment and partnership opportunities that promise to shape the future of agriculture in Nigeria and beyond,โ€ Obegulu said.

ACCI reaffirms its commitment to supporting agricultural stakeholders as the FARMFATECH Expo provides a unique platform to showcase the latest advancements in agro-mechanization and food processing technologies.

The Abuja Chamber pledged innovative support to the agricultural sector which remains a crucial contributor to Nigeriaโ€™s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

โ€œACCI underscores its goal to spotlight investment opportunities in the agro-allied sector, drive policy support for the industry, and promote initiatives that foster economic growth.
