Operatives of CP-SAT have arrested a 32-year-old notorious cultist and armed robbery suspect, Tunde Akingbenomo, in Oghara-Efe Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The suspect was arrested at his residence on October 5, 2024, at about 1405 hours.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement sent to our correspondent in Warri.
He said, “One locally made gun was recovered.”
According to SP Edafe, “The suspect then led the operatives to an uncompleted building where two fabricated automatic Beretta pistols were recovered.”
He also added, “Investigation is ongoing.”
