“I want to thank the NSCDC for the role it playing in the nation building, Nigeria is a nation that is still growing and we have millions of challenges. One of our challenges is security, we cannot discuss today the Nigeria security architecture and it’s told in safeguarding people and property without mentioning NSCDC.

“The performance, the commitment and your contribution are on scale, there’s are not hidden, there are everywhere. I join my voice to the deputy director of DSS Rashid to say that, people worked for you to get here, do not downscale the integrity, the capacity and the nope people have on your service, rather I call you to more duty, you need to stand more, you need to work more vigorously, to be more committed, you need to give out all in other to take the service to greater height.

“I for one believe this is not your best yet, the best out of you is yet to come. On behalf of myself and I’m sure other traditional rulers, we will continue to provide you the support you need to carry out your responsibilities. I urge you wherever your beats are, to work with the traditional ruler, they are your intelligence alert system. They have so much with them to give you that will ease your work.

“I admire the synergy represented here, this should transcend to how we carry out our operations, it should transcend to how we relate to one another when duty calls us. That the borders that we built and created in the place of carrying out assignments should be collapsed. Let’s identify our roles and Know that our roles are complimentary and not different. The most important thing is that everything we do should end up in the office of the security adviser as a contribution to national security,” said the traditional ruler.
