No fewer than 20 people have allegedly been killed in Gidan Waya, following an attack on communities in Jema’a Local Government Area of southern Kaduna State.
The report, shared by a user on X, (Formerly Twitter) on Saturday night, revealed alongside gory images the outcome of the attack.
The post showed images of some of the victims who appeared to have been macheted at delicate parts of the body, lying at an unspecified medical facility.
Although details surrounding the incident are still sketchy as of press time, the X user also claimed that the attack occurred in Pasakori, Gidan Waya.
An advanced search on Facebook further revealed similar reports of an attack in Pasakori, Gidan Waya.
A post by a Facebook User, Abigail Ninyio read, “We need urgent security at Pasakori along Gidan Waya Road, Jema’a Local government area of Kaduna State, Fulani and community members are at war.”
Another User, Margaret Mark, said, “Pray for one of the villages call Pasankori close to gidan waya
Fulani has been killing people. Pray for peace.”
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, Mansir Hassan said, “I will get back to you.”
