Bayern Munich star rules out Premier League return amid Manchester United and Arsenal interest

Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané has strongly suggested that he is not interested in a return to the Premier League, despite reported interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, Soccernet.football reports.

The 28-year-old, whose contract with the Bavarian giants expires at the end of the season, emphasised his commitment to competing for titles — a prospect he feels Bayern Munich continues to offer.

In an interview with SportBILD, Sané acknowledged his admiration for English football but dismissed the idea of a move back to the Premier League.

“I have a fondness for the league and still follow some games on TV. But the attraction for me lies in the club where I can deliver my best performance, develop, and win titles. I have that at FC Bayern. This is where I have my biggest challenges and goals,” he said.

Bayern Munich are reportedly eager to extend Sané’s contract, albeit with a reduced salary.

The winger, who joined Bayern in 2020 from Manchester City, expressed his comfort and satisfaction with life in Munich, further hinting at his desire to remain with the Bundesliga champions.

“I feel comfortable at the club and in the dressing room. What matters to me is that I’m an important part of FC Bayern’s planning, and I would like to confirm this role,” he added.

Sané has made a strong start to the season, scoring three goals in 386 minutes of playing time.

With Bayern Munich pushing for contract renewal talks, the German international seems poised to continue his journey with the club that aligns with his ambitions for silverware.
