The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has announced the listing of an additional 218,084 units of the Chapel Hill Denham Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF) on its Daily Official List.
This was contained in the NGX Weekly Report seen by NewsNGR. The additional units listed on NGX arose from the NIDF’s third quarter 2024 Scrip Dividend.
This latest development increases the total issued units of the NIDF from 961,123,921 to 961,342,005, further enhancing the liquidity and accessibility of the Fund on the Exchange.
The statement reads,“Trading Licence Holders are hereby notified that additional 218,084 units of Chapel Hill Denham Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF or the Fund) were listed on the Daily Official List of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
“The additional units listed on NGX arose from the NIDF’s 2024 Q3 Scrip Dividend. With the listing of the additional 218,084 units, the total units of the Fund has now increased from 961,123,921 to 961,342,005 units”
Managed by Chapel Hill Denham, the Fund is a critical investment vehicle that provides long-term financing for key projects while offering investors steady returns.
The Q3 Scrip Dividend, which resulted in the issuance of the additional units, allows existing investors to receive their dividends in the form of new units, thereby increasing their holdings and reinforcing their commitment to the Fund’s objectives.
NGX also recently listed a total of 1.079 billion units of the Chapel Hill Denham Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF) on its platform.
These additional units were issued as part of the NIDF’s Scrip Dividend, covering the period from January 2023 to April 2024.
Furthermore, on Friday, September 6, 2024, an additional 177,401 units of the NIDF were listed on the NGX. This brings the total number of units listed to 1,079,162.
The newly listed units were issued under the NIDF’s Q2 2024 Scrip Dividend, increasing the total number of units in the Fund from 960,946,520 to 961,123,921.
The Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF), managed by Chapel Hill Denham, distributed N8.17bn to its unitholders for the first half of 2023, according to a recent corporate notice from the firm.
