The Edo State House of Assembly, chaired by Speaker Blessing Agbebaku, on Wednesday confirmed Emmanuel Okoebor as the Commissioner for Finance.
Okoebor, nominated a day earlier by Governor Monday Okpebholo, was screened by the House Committee on Rules, Business, and Government House, led by Majority Leader Charity Aiguobarueghian.
Following the committee’s recommendation, the lawmakers approved his appointment through a voice vote.
