Gov Eno Bids Final Farewell To Late Wife November 29

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State is set to bid the final farewell to his late wife, Mrs Patience Umo Eno on November 29 who died suddenly in September after a protracted illness.

Eno, a son of a police officer who was elected last year during the general elections has been married to his late wife for 40 years. He has received overwhelming support from far and wide including the governors forum, the presidency and foreign diplomats.

Patience, who was the founder of Golden Initiative For All (GIFA) a pet project dedicated to humanitarian services was also a pastor like her husband. She was 57 years old.

In an announcement made available to the media and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the bereaved family in conjunction with the state government approved the funeral events beginning 20th November with the opening of the mourning house.

It stated that the programme would include condolences visits between 20th November and 26th November while the night of worship and tributes would take place on 22nd November at the International Christian Worship Centre in Uyo, the state capital.

Also, the service of songs will take place at the familyโ€™s country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium local government area on 27th November.

The funeral service will take place at the country home, Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium LGA on 29th November by 10.am, the statement added.

in the days leading up to the funeral, โ€ it stated.
