The scheduled local government election in Ogun state has so far witnessed late arrival of electoral officers, sensitive and non sensitive materials, just as polling units has been deserted.
When Blueprint reporter visited some polling units located at the Oluwo police post, and Fowobi junction, under the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area at about 8:45am, the polling unit looks deserted with no presence of electoral officers.
Recall that the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) chairman, Barr. Babatunde Osibodu had announced that the scheduled poll is expected to start between the hours of 8am to 2pm.
When our reporter however got to the Obafemi Owode local government secretariat, at 9:45am, materials needed for the election are still been distributed to electoral officers.
