Sporting CP coach, Mr Ruben Amorim, has been appointed as the new head coach of Manchester United Football Club of England.
A statement from the sporting outfit on Friday said the successor to Mr Erik ten Hag, who was sacked on Monday, will officially join the club on Monday, November 11, 2024.
With his appointment, Mr Amorim will begin the process of leaving Portugal for England and would be expected to bring back the glory of Manchester United.
According to the statement from Manchester United, which seats 14 on the English Premier League table, the new manager will move to the country subject to the approval of his work visa requirements.
While he works on this, the interim manager of the club, โRuud van Nistelrooy will continue to take charge of the team.โ

โHe will join until June 2027 with a club option of an additional year, once he has fulfilled his obligations to his current club. He will join Manchester United on Monday 11 November.
