NGX Lists 3.122 billion Shares of Haldane McCall at N3.84 Each

The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited has listed 3,122,000,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo of Haldane McCall Plc on its main board.

The equities of the company were brought to the stock exchange by introduction and allowed for trading on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, according to a circular from the NGX.

Recall that a few days ago, Business Post reported that Haldane McCall obtained approval to list its shares on the nationโ€™s flagship exchange.

The addition of Haldane McCall to the NGX has increased the value of the trading platform by N11.989 billion.

On Tuesday, the market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange ended at N59.367 trillion.

โ€œTrading License Holders are hereby notified that the entire issued and fully paid 3,122,000,000 ordinary shares of Haldane McCall Plc were listed by introduction at N3.84 per share on the main board of Nigerian Exchange Limited today, Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

โ€œThe trading symbol of Haldane McCall is HMCALL,โ€ the notice from the stock exchange obtained by this newspaper read.

The management of Haldane McCall will be given the honour of closing this trading session for the closing gong ceremony to commemorate the listing.

Thereafter at 2:30 pm, the team will engage capital market stakeholders for a Facts Behind the Listing Presentation at the NGX Group Plc House on Customs Street, Lagos.

This event will feature the executive management team and its issuing house, Finmal Finance Services, who will share valuable insights into the companyโ€™s strategic vision, growth trajectory, and the anticipated impact of this listing on its operations and market positioning.

Haldane McCall was incorporated on March 27, 2012, as a private limited company determined to take charge of the real estate business in Nigeria and the emerging markets.

Recall that last month, precisely on October 14, 2024, Aradel Holdings Plc listed its equities on the NGX by introduction, with 4,344,844,360 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each at N702.69 per unit, with a market capitalisation of N3.05 trillion.
