Rivers state is gearing up to host a pivotal energy summit, bringing together state actors, industry leaders, oil and gas experts, academics, innovators, and technology providers to drive growth and efficiency across the energy sector.
The Group Managing Director, Solewant Group, Sir Solomon Ewanehi, who spoke in Port Harcourt on Thursday said the Summit is aimed to spark discussions leading to measurable improvements in the energy sector and will explore ways to boost oil production, enhance sustainability, security, and resilience of energy infrastructure and the environment.
Ewanehi spoke during a Pre-Press briefing heralding the firm’s 8th Energy Summit to hold at Solewant Industrial Area, Alode Eleme, Onne, Rivers State, on the 27th of November with the theme: “Pioneering Technology and Innovation for Transition to Sustainable Energy Development in Africa.
The GMD, who was represented by Dr Benjamin Ubleble, the Executive Secretary Training Institute, Port Harcourt, said the summit was to drive technological innovation in the country and Africa at large.
According to him, the summit is built around three key objectives: driving technological innovation, strengthening policy and regulatory support, and fostering collaborative partnerships.
