The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has suspended Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad, the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), indefinitely.
The suspension was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday evening by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to the FCT Minister.
Although the statement did not reveal reasons for the suspension, it stated that the decision is effective immediately.
Ahmad was instructed to hand over his responsibilities to the Director of Engineering Services in the FCDA, pending further notice.
“The Executive Secretary, Federal Capital Development Authority FCDA, Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad, has been suspended indefinitely,” the statement read.
