APC Launches Imo Youth League Chapter

The APC Youth League (AYL) has officially launched its Imo State chapter, tasking its new leadership with spearheading an aggressive membership drive to strengthen the partyโ€™s foothold across the State and the Southeast.

The inauguration ceremony, held in Owerri, was presided over by the National President of the league, Olamide Lawal. In his remarks, Lawal urged the newly sworn-in executives, led by Promise Okolie, to serve as shining examples of the partyโ€™s values, carrying its manifesto to every corner of the State.

He emphasized that their role is a call to service, charging them to uphold the highest standards while advancing the partyโ€™s objectives.

Lawal also reaffirmed the groupโ€™s commitment to promoting youth participation in politics through enlightenment campaigns, warning against any acts of sabotage within the leadership ranks.

While commending Governor Hope Uzodinma for his strides in youth and infrastructural development, Lawal pledged the leagueโ€™s unwavering support for his administration.

Special guest of honor, Emeka Mandela, the Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, lauded the groupโ€™s mission and called on the State chapter to remain disciplined and aligned with the leagueโ€™s principles.

Mandela also highlighted Governor Uzodinmaโ€™s role in unifying the ruling party as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, praising his notable achievements.

In his acceptance speech, newly inaugurated State Coordinator Promise Okolie vowed to strengthen the leagueโ€™s presence in Imo State and the Southeast.

He expressed the groupโ€™s determination to build a strong platform for advancing developmental leadership and pledged to work harmoniously with his team to achieve the leagueโ€™s vision.

The eventโ€™s climax was the presentation of membership certificates to the newly inaugurated executives, marking the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic chapter for the APC Youth League in Imo State.
