Terrorists Wednesday planted another set of bomb explosives around Mai Lamba area along Dansadau-Gusau major road of Maru Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara state with many travellers reported dead.
Residents in the area in a telephone interview with Blueprint said the bomb exploded and blasted a Gulf wagon vehicle conveying over 10 people who died immediately.
“As I am talking to you now, all the passengers were burnt to death beyond recognition. Even their flesh were scattered.
“This is coming two days after the first incident where these dreaded terrorists planted bomb along the same road which caused the death of a truck driver,” the source said.
He urged the federal and Zamfara state governments to come to the rescue of the communities in the area as quickly as possible, noting that Magami, Dansadau communities are in serious threats by bandits for the past six years.
Police authorities were yet to comment on the incident as at the time of filling this report.
