Super Eagles B head coach Augustine Eguavoen has invited 30 players to camp as the team intensifies preparations for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2025 qualifiers.
The players, drawn from various domestic clubs across the country, are expected to report to the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, on Wednesday, December 4.
This was disclosed in a statement by Ademola Olajire, the Head of Communications for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Monday.
The list includes experienced players like Kano Pillars’ midfielder Rabiu Ali, who has scored eight goals this season, and promising talents such as Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole and Abia Warriors forward Sunday Megwo.
Also included are Rivers United defender Steven Mayo and Rangers International midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye.
The Super Eagles B will face Ghana’s Black Stars B in a two-legged qualifier later this month.
The first leg is scheduled for December 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the second leg set for December 28 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
CHAN, a tournament exclusively for players in domestic leagues, will be held in February 2025 and jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
