ExxonMobil has announced significant changes to its leadership team as Liam Mallon, President of ExxonMobil Upstream Company and Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation, prepares to retire on February 1, 2025.
Mallon, who has led the Upstream Company since 2022, will pass the baton to Dan L. Ammann.
Ammann, currently Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation, will assume the role of President of ExxonMobil Upstream Company while retaining his corporate responsibilities.
In another notable move, Barry L. Engle has been appointed President of Low Carbon Solutions and Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation, with his new role taking effect on January 1, 2025.
Darren Woods, ExxonMobil’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, expressed gratitude for Mallon’s decades-long service, highlighting his dedication and exemplary leadership.
“We thank Liam for his long-standing, dedicated service to the company, and we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement,” Woods stated.
