Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has taken a bold stand, filing a petition against Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, and singer Zinoleesky over an alleged threat to his life.
The controversy erupted on the 9th of December, 2024, when Lil Smart took to social media with an alarming plea, claiming his safety was at risk.
In a dramatic twist, he urged the public to hold Naira Marley and Zinoleesky accountable should anything untoward happen to him.
To back his claims, he shared unsettling videos and photos depicting Zinoleesky and others purportedly pursuing him.
Responding to the accusations, Zinoleesky dismissed the claims as baseless, branding Lil Smart’s actions as “chasing clout.”
However, Lil Smart took the matter further, revealing in a viral Instagram post that he had officially lodged a petition with the authorities and was determined to see justice served.
“This is not the first or third time I have been experiencing this bullying. But I didn’t have enough evidence to face the law. Now, I thank God that I have very good evidence, and I will put everything I have in line to make sure this bullying and threat to life is stopped,” he stated emphatically.
“With my evidence, I really hope that they are not too big to be apprehended. I have submitted my petition and evidence to the authorities. By God’s grace, the law that binds us as citizens of Nigeria will make sure I get the justice I deserve.”
Lil Smart also disclosed that he had previously endured harassment from the duo but had lacked the necessary proof to take legal action.
Meanwhile, as of the time of this report, Naira Marley has remained silent on the allegations, leaving the public eagerly awaiting his response.
