The Muslim community was thrown into mourning on Friday morning following the passing of a renowned scholar and preacher, Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello.
Sheikh Akewugbagold Taofeek, an Ibadan-based cleric, disclosed Belloโs demise in a Facebook post.

Aljannah fridaos for you. Our heart is full of grief and our eyes full of tears but we will say nothing but what will please our Creator the sole commander of life and death โ ALLAH,โ said Taofeek.
His son, Alh Basit Olanrewaju Katibi Bello, popularly known as Aponle Anobi, posted crying emojis with a picture of the Sheikh on social media but did not provide further details.
Bello was born in 1940 into the family of Alhaji Bello Ajani and Alhaja Ubaidat Bello of Ita Olukoyi, Ibadan, Oyo State.
