Otti Commissions Projects, Honours Police Commissioner

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has commissioned three major projects in Onu Aku, Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Government Area of the state.

According to a statement issued on Monday by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Ukoha, the projects, initiated by Uchechukwu Ogah, Founder of Masters Energy Group, include Masters 105.9 FM, Wilsons Hotels and Resorts, and the Wilson and Paulina Memorial Hospital.

During the commissioning which is part of the activities marking the final obsequies and celebration of the life of Ogah’s late mother, Ezinne Ogah, Governor Otti commended Ogah for bringing development to his hometown, describing the gesture as a significant contribution to job creation and community empowerment.

Reflecting on the life of the late matriarch of the Ogah family, Otti said, “Listening to the tributes, it is clear that Ezinne Ogah came, saw, and conquered. Her legacy of selflessness and hard work is one we should all strive to emulate.”

The former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who commissioned the radio station on behalf of Governor Otti, also praised Ogah for his visionary leadership in establishing impactful projects in his community.

Following the commissioning in Uturu, Governor Otti proceeded to Leru Umuchieze Secondary School Field in Umunneochi Local Government Area for a civic reception organized by the Leru Patriotic Development Union (LPDU).

The event further celebrated Ifeanyi Uche, Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCCC).

Governor Otti, in his address, congratulated Uche on his achievements and praised the Leru community for honoring one of their sons. He described the recognition as an encouragement for others to make positive impacts in their communities.

“Your dedication and service are exemplary. Keep up the good work, and may God continue to bless your efforts,” Otti said.

In his response, Uche thanked Governor Otti for honouring him at the event and for personally decorating him with his new rank as Commissioner of Police in Abuja.

He also acknowledged Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi for their support and presence.

The dual events attracted prominent figures from various sectors, making it a day of celebration, community development, and recognition of outstanding contributions.
