The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja, has described Nyesom Wike as a loyal and committed party man.
The PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), stated this during a book launch held in his honor, on Friday, marking his 57th birthday, in Port Harcourt.
The PDP chieftain, Arapaja, said despite the internal crisis in the party, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commands the respect of all party members.
He added that if Wike was of value to the PDP, other parties would not have been seeking him.
“We are proud as PDP members to say he’s one of our finest. Because if he’s not good enough I’m quite sure that some of our other political parties, obviously would not be looking for him. He’s making a lot of difference.
“The foundation of all political parties in Nigeria is PDP. So, I am surprised when someone who is a product of the PDP speaks negatively about it. That is not politics.
“Our mentor and principal, who has never left the PDP for a day, is one of the most committed and loyal party leaders we have ever had. He has done well, he is doing well, and we wish him well in all his future endeavours.
‘We know you, and we always love and appreciate you. Some people believe in entitlement mentality, but we will always stand by you because you are a man of integrity, honour, and a performer,” Arapaja said.
