You’ve Contributed Immensely to Ogun’s Security, Abiodun Praises Outgoing CP Alamutu

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has commended the outgoing Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alamutu, for his remarkable contributions to the security and safety of the state during his tenure.

Speaking at the Pull-Out Parade held in honor of CP Alamutu at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Monday, Governor Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, lauded Alamutu’s 35 years of distinguished service in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The governor praised the outgoing commissioner for his collaboration with the state government in combating crime and ensuring public safety, emphasizing his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to training police officers to enhance security operations in Ogun.

“CP Alamutu’s contributions to the security and safety of our state and nation cannot be overstated. I rejoice with you, my friend, and celebrate your unwavering commitment to safeguarding peace in our communities,” Governor Abiodun said.

“Throughout your career, you exemplified high standards of professionalism and integrity. Today’s celebration is a testament to your dedication to making our society better. As the 36th Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, you approached the complexities of modern policing with foresight and diligence, equipping officers with the training needed to excel. Your tenure has left a lasting legacy for generations to come.”

In his remarks, CP Alamutu expressed gratitude to the state government and other security agencies for their support during his service in Ogun. He pledged to remain an advocate for the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) even in retirement.

The retiring CP urged junior officers to maintain integrity, professionalism, and excellence in their duties, emphasizing the importance of standing firm in the face of challenges.

“Uphold the values of truth and integrity, and continue striving for excellence as you serve the people and the nation,” Alamutu charged his colleagues.

The Pull-Out Parade marked the end of Alamutu’s illustrious career, celebrated for its positive impact on Ogun State and the country as a whole.
