Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has dissolved the state Executive Council (SEC) with immediate effect.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs and Special Services, Mohammed Iliyasu Idde, Friday night and made available to newsmen in Lafia
The statement also sent Secretary to the Nasarawa state Government (SSG), Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, packing.
โHis Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive governor of Nasarawa state has approved the dissolution of the Nasarawa state Executive Council with effect from Friday, 34 January, 2025.
โAlso affected is the relieve of the appointment of Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa state.
โBy this development, all outgoing commissioners are to handover the affairs of their ministries and all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective Ministries.
โThe Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa state is to handover to the Permanent Secretary cabinet affairs and special Services,โ the statement said.
The governor however, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing commissioners and the SSG for the services rendered to the government and people of Nasarawa state and wished them the best of luck in their future endeavours.
