The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained 101 Nigerians and four Chinese for alleged online fraud and other corrupt activities.
The commissionโs spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, said in a statement on Friday that the suspects were taken into custody on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
They were arrested from a business flat located in Abujaโs Gudu axis.
The suspects, who included 38 women and 67 men (four of whom were Chinese), were accused of participating in a hotel review job scam that targeted hotels and victims in Europe and other countries.
The commission added that the suspects will be charged in court afterย investigations.
