MultiChoice opens auditions for Nigerian Idol season 10

MultiChoice Nigeria has officially opened auditions for the 10th season of Nigerian Idol, inviting talented Nigerians to showcase their musical skills on one of Africaโ€™s most celebrated stages.

Auditions will close on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

This yearโ€™s season, themed โ€œYour Voice, Your Victory,โ€ encourages aspiring singers aged 16 to 30 to take bold steps toward achieving their dreams. To participate, contestants must record a 30-second video of themselves singing a song of their choice and upload it to the Africa Magic website.

Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa at MultiChoice, said:
โ€œNigerian Idol is not just about discovering talent; itโ€™s about giving everyday Nigerians the chance to share their voice and inspire others. Over the past decade, the show has touched lives, built careers, and entertained audiences across Africa. This yearโ€™s theme speaks directly to the heart of Nigerian Idol and the power of music in changing lives.โ€

The previous season delivered remarkable entertainment, with Chima Udoye crowned the winner. This season promises to raise the bar, continuing its legacy of unearthing Nigeriaโ€™s rich musical talent.

Bigi, the popular soft drink brand, returns as the headline sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to supporting homegrown talent and creativity.
