Otti Leads Delegation To Honour Late Pa Nathaniel Egege At 92

The Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, has led a delegation of state officials to honour the life and legacy of the Late Pa Nathaniel O. Egege, father of Engr. Stanley Egege, Chairman of the Governing Council of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba.

The burial ceremony, held in Itungwa Ahiafoukwu Autonomous Community, Obingwa LGA, was a celebration of the life of Pa Egege, who passed away at the age of 92. Known for his contributions to the hospitality industry, the late patriarch was remembered as a man who left an indelible mark in his field and his community.

In his condolence letter to the bereaved family, Governor Otti described Pa Egege as โ€œa notable figure in the hospitality industry who lived a long and fulfilled life, making meaningful contributions that will be remembered for years to come.โ€

He urged the family to find solace in his impactful life and the legacy he left behind, adding that โ€œHe has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord.โ€

Engr. Stanley Egege, speaking on behalf of the family, expressed profound gratitude to the governor for attending the ceremony despite his busy schedule.

Dignitaries at the event included the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu; the Honourable Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prof. Joel Ogbonna; the Mayor of Obingwa, Hon. Maxwell Nwadike; and the Rector of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Engr. Christopher Kalu Okoro.
