The wife of a missing Anambra-based estate developer and billionaire, Benjamin Ezemma, has called on security agencies to find her husband who disappeared over two months ago.
Ezemma, the MD of Dubai Estate in Awka, was reportedly abducted on November 12, 2024 and has not been seen since.
In a Facebook post, Ezemma’s wife Tochukwu accused the Anambra State Government and security agencies of maintaining a “conspiracy of silence” regarding her husband’s abduction.
She alleged that Governor Charles Soludo and his cabinet members know the “high-profile and dangerous people” Ezemma met with before his disappearance but have remained silent.
Tochukwu also claimed the State Security Service (SSS) concluded investigations and identified the individuals Ezemma met with, but no action has been taken. The SSS allegedly told her a case was filed in court but provided no details on the charges or defendants.
The Anambra State Government, through its Commissioner for Information Law Mefor, said it lacks investigative and prosecutorial powers in security matters. Mefor noted the state is awaiting the outcome of the SSS investigation.
Both the Anambra State Police and the SSS declined to comment on the matter when contacted.
