Tijaniyya Leader Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim-Niass Commends Tinubu’s Leadership

Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim-Niass, the global leader of the Tijaniyya movement, has praised President Bola Tinubu as a compassionate and patriotic leader dedicated to the well-being of all Nigerians and the nation’s progress.

Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim-Niass, the current Khalifah (successor) of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass and President of the African Islamic Union, made the remarks on Friday after observing the Jumma’at prayer with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Accompanied by the leaders of the Tijaniyya movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Mahi led a special prayer for the success of President Tinubu’s government.

Following the prayer, the cleric explained that visiting Nigeria annually is part of his routine to seek divine support for the country’s security and economic prosperity.

Sheikh Mahi described President Tinubu as a leader whose concern for the welfare of Nigerians is evident.

“Every year I visit Nigeria from Senegal to pray for peace, stability, and development, and over the last few days, I have visited Bauchi State and other parts of the country,” he said.

“I am very pleased with the warm reception we received from the President. We observed the Jumma’at prayer together, and this shows President Tinubu’s genuine concern for Nigeria and its people.”

The cleric prayed, “May the Almighty Allah grant stability to Nigeria, restore peace in areas affected by insecurity, and bless the nation with economic prosperity.”
