The Zamfara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has conveyed its profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of innocent lives following the recent airstrike mishap in Tungar Kara, Maradun Local Government Area.
In a statement released by the state publicity secretary, Haliru Andi, the party expressed deep compassion for those affected, saying, “Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of the victims, whose lives were cut short in this unfortunate incident.”
Describing the incident as a devastating blow, the PDP affirmed its solidarity with all impacted by the tragedy, emphasizing the shared grief of the community.
Andi also lauded the Nigerian military for their unwavering commitment to combating banditry, noting, “While we acknowledge the inherent risks of such operations, the protection of innocent citizens and the restoration of peace to our communities must remain the foremost priority.”
He further expressed confidence in the collaboration between the military and Governor Dauda Lawal, stating that their joint efforts will continue to ensure the safety and security of Zamfara State and its residents.
