Deputy Senate President Jibrin Donates 61 Cars, 1,136 Motorcycles to APC Leaders

Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin on Sunday donated 61 cars and 1,136 motorcycles to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots level in Kano State.  

The gesture aims to empower APC members and enhance grassroots mobilization for party activities.

During the presentation, Mr. Jibrin stated that the motorcycles were designated for ward chairmen, while the cars would be allocated to party leaders, including local government and zonal chairmen.

He also announced plans to support university graduates with a ₦5 million loan to help them start small businesses.

The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, commended Mr. Jibrin for the donation, stating that it would improve the socioeconomic well-being of party members and further the party’s ideals.

Mr. Ganduje expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing key party members from the state to ministerial and other strategic positions.

“We appreciate President Tinubu for making it possible to appoint Dr. Mariya Bunkure as Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Alhaji Abdullahi Atta as Minister of State for Works and Housing.

“We also thank President Tinubu for appointing Mr. Rabiu Bichi as Managing Director of Hadejia River Basin Development Authority,” he said.

He emphasized that the people of Kano State would continue to support the party in appreciation of Mr. Tinubu’s commitment to the state.

The Kano State APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, praised Mr. Jibrin’s empowerment initiative and urged other politicians to provide palliatives to their constituents, especially during Ramadan.

Mr. Abbas also encouraged party supporters to remain vigilant and focused on securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
