‘Ex-Dunamis Pastor, Enenche’s Brother Get N2M Bail’ — Court Sets Strict Terms After Royal Intervention In Defamation Case
The Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, presided over by Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna, has granted bail to former Dunamis Church Pastor Abraham Daniel and Peter Enenche, the brother of Dunamis International Gospel Church Senior Pastor Paul Enenche.
The bail, set at N2 million, comes with stringent conditions aimed at ensuring the defendants’ compliance with the judicial process.
The court granted bail following an application by the defendants’ lawyer, S. M. Oyeghe, Esq. The conditions include:

The defendants were charged with cyberbullying, criminal defamation, and other offenses filed by Pastor Paul Enenche. The charges stem from allegations of online defamation and conspiracy against the senior pastor.
Recall that Pastor Paul Enenche had dropped similar charges against his younger brother, Alexander Enenche, and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, following widespread criticism. However, the case took a new turn when Pastor Enenche filed a First Information Report (FIR) on January 30, 2025, vowing to continue prosecuting Abraham Daniel and Peter Enenche.
Abraham Daniel and Peter Enenche were arrested and detained alongside Alexander Enenche over allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation. They were initially remanded at the Keffi Custodial Centre in Nasarawa State after a remand order was secured by the Nigerian Police Force.
The prosecution counsel, Francis Gabriel, noted that the bail granted to Daniel and Peter Enenche followed the intervention of His Royal Highness Odogbo John Abagaji, the O’chidoma of the Idoma Kingdom.
The defendants are facing charges of criminal conspiracy, cyberstalking, and defamation of character. Both Abraham Daniel and Peter Enenche pleaded not guilty to the charges.
