Kudirat Abdulkarim Emerges as BUK’s Best Graduate with 4.92 CGPA 

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) held its 39th Convocation Ceremony, during which Kudirat Oyiza Abdulkarim from the Faculty of Agriculture was recognized as the Overall Best Graduating Student with an impressive CGPA of 4.92.  

Reflecting on her academic journey, Kudirat said, “It was never an easy road, but I remained focused, dedicated, and consistent. Today, my dream has become a reality.” She attributed her success to Almighty Allah, her lecturers, and her parents, whose support and encouragement were instrumental.

Kudirat also expressed her aspirations to contribute to agricultural development through research. “My aspiration is to become a researcher who will add value to agriculture and make meaningful contributions to society,” she stated.

She acknowledged Bayero University’s role in her success. “BUK is a life-changing institution. I am proud to call myself a product of this great university, and I will remain its ambassador wherever I go,” she said.

Her story serves as an inspiration for students, proving that excellence is achievable through hard work and determination. “I want others to know that when you commit yourself fully to your dreams, anything is possible,” Kudirat added.
