Nedu Wazobia files ₦500 million suit against VeryDarkMan

Media figure Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, commonly referred to as Nedu Wazobia, has initiated legal proceedings against activist Verydarkman, seeking ₦500 million in damages for defamation.
It is important to note that Verydarkman recently made statements accusing Nedu of engaging in sexual relations with women in exchange for promoting their careers through his platform.
Verydarkman claimed that he learned about Nons Miraj and Ashmusy allegedly participating in a threesome with wealthy individuals for financial gain during a prior discussion with Nedu.
Additionally, the activist alleged that Nedu spoke disparagingly about several female celebrities and revealed confidential information about them during their conversation.
Among the accusations, Verydarkman also published a 12-minute video on his YouTube channel titled “How Nedu Diverted NGO Scholarship Meant for Nigerians.”
The legal counsel representing Nedu and Tokindrumz Picture and Media Ltd has asserted that the video produced by Verydarkman contains numerous defamatory, untrue, and derogatory statements aimed at their clients.
The attorneys clarified that Nedu is not the proprietor of Tokindrumz but is instead a talent affiliated with the brand.
They have demanded that Verydarkman remove all videos featuring Nedu from his platforms within 24 hours of receiving the notice, issue a public apology, and provide compensation of ₦500 million for the damage caused to Nedu’s reputation.
