Nigerians happy with Tinubu’s reforms – Ganduje

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, on Tuesday, praised President Bola Tinubu as a visionary leader whom Nigerians are beginning to respect for his economic reforms.

Ganduje said the President deserves appreciation for his precise approach to addressing the challenges he inherited upon assuming office.

The former Kano governor made these remarks while receiving a delegation from a support group named the Tinubu Young Generation Forum at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.

He said, “Our President is doing very well. He is a reformer and a visionary leader. He is focused, and we are happy with his reforms because they are absolutely necessary for the social and economic development of this country.

“There is no doubt that many things went wrong over a long period, and it requires precision surgery to set things right. But we are happy that we have started seeing the results of these reforms, especially in the economic sector. We believe they will continue to yield positive outcomes so that our legacy and the Renewed Hope Agenda will be achieved.

“Additionally, we have established what we call a Progressive Institute, which will educate our members and enlighten them on our constitution, manifesto, and programmes. The institute will also provide input for the government to formulate policies essential for the country’s development. So, as we have said, it will not be business as usual.”

PUNCH Online reports that in August 2024, Ganduje assured Nigerians that the dividends of Tinubu’s nail-biting reforms would soon come to fruition.

Similarly, in September 2024, he also urged Nigerians to reaffirm their trust in the President as his government continues to spearhead comprehensive reforms to revamp the economy.
