Rep. Rurum Hosts 34 Newly Recruited Police Officers, Urges Them to Uphold Integrity

The Member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, hosted 34 newly recruited police constables from his constituency, whose enlistment he helped facilitate.
The event, held at his residence, brought together the recruits he had assisted in securing entry into the force.
While addressing them, Hon. Rurum acknowledged their perseverance throughout the selection and training process. He urged them to uphold discipline, integrity, and dedication in their careers.
“I feel deeply honored and fulfilled to witness you all achieve the aspirations you have long nurtured,” he said. “The police force has produced numerous figures of great prominence through sheer dedication and uprightness. I expect each of you to be ambassadors of honesty.”
Rurum cited examples of officers who started as constables and rose to the rank of Inspector General of Police, emphasizing the need for continuous self-improvement and commitment to duty.
In response, the recruits expressed their gratitude.
“We sincerely appreciate Hon. Rurum for his unwavering assistance and for believing in us,” one of them said. “We promise to serve with diligence, discipline, and integrity.”
