Adelabu mourns Abisola Kola-Daisi

The Minister of Power, Mr Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed deep shock over the passing of Mrs Abisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor and political leader of Oyo State.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by Bolaji Tunji, Special Adviser on Strategic Communications and Media Relations to the Minister, Adelabu described the news as a great shock.

The Minister extended his condolences to Abisola’s husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her mother, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, and the Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.

Adelabu lauded Abisola as a remarkable woman who embodied grace, kindness, and strength.

“As the sister and wife of an accomplished professional, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, she carried herself with dignity and poise,” he said.

He further described her as a devoted mother, a caring family member, and a compassionate individual who touched lives with her warmth and generosity.

The minister expressed his sorrow, noting that the loss was especially painful, coming just a few years after the passing of her father, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.

He offered condolences to her family, especially her mother, siblings, husband, and young children.

“I can only imagine the depth of grief being experienced,” he said.

Adelabu reassured the family, saying, “The legacy of Sen. Ajimobi lives on through his children, and though Abisola’s time with us was cut short, she made her mark through her kindness and love.”

He prayed that Allah grant the family strength and fortitude in this difficult time, and that Abisola’s soul rest in perfect peace.

The minister also prayed for Abisola’s children, hoping they would grow up to embody the virtues of integrity, compassion, and excellence passed down from their mother and grandfather.
