Amaechi: Wike-Fubara Feud Is About Money Sharing

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has claimed that the ongoing feud between the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, revolves around money-sharing disputes.
Amaechi made this assertion during an interview with Deutsche Welle (DW) on Saturday.
He criticized the emergency rule imposed on the state by President Bola Tinubu, describing it as unconstitutional.
“The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel about? Nigerians no longer seem to oppose corruption. I haven’t seen anyone on the streets questioning the real issue. Can both of them come forward and openly explain what the problem is?” Amaechi stated.
