Danjuma, Folawiyo, others fete Ita-Giwa on 79th birthday
It was an unforgettable evening of glitz and glamour as the former Senator representing Cross River South, Florence Ita-Giwa celebrated her 79th birthday. The exclusive dinner party was held at her luxury residence in Banana Island, drawing Nigeria’s crème de la crème, close friends, family members, fashion moguls, entertainment icons, and political elites who gathered to celebrate her. The event kicked off with the arrival of some of the country’s most influential figures, who were treated to an evening of exquisite dining, drinks, and music.
One of the highlights of the night was the grand entrance of the celebrant. Dressed in a stunning chocolate brown gown with gold accents and a turban, Ita-Giwa made her way in, dancing and greeting guests with warm hugs and radiant smiles. The atmosphere was charged with excitement when music star, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, stormed the event alongside his Edo lawmaker fiancée, Natasha Osawaru. Palpably delighted, she embraced the musician in appreciation of his presence.
Among the high-profile guests were Mo Abudu, fashionista and event planner, Ndidi Obioha, who made an elegant entrance with a stylish birthday cake for the celebrant. The celebration was further elevated by the presence of fashion designer DaSilva Ajayi, her friend, Senator Daisy Danjuma, journalist Azuka Ogujiuba, and philanthropist Abah Folawiyo, whose attendance added prestige to the occasion. Adding a touch of love to the celebration were the numerous cakes presented to the celebrant. Surrounded by her daughter, grandchildren, and well-wishers, Mama Bakassi cut her cakes as friends joined in for special photographs.
