@Poppy_yyyyyyyy: “That’s not an excuse to buy a baby.”
@Jenny27051995: “Just love her book.. we all have our flaws”
@Poppy_yyyyyyyy: “I love her books too and thought she was incredibly brave speaking up about women’s rights. I find it incredibly disappointing she doesn’t think that those rights extend to all women.”
@UChigbu53414: “Who cares what you think about her? When did surrogacy become a crime? People, even your faves have been doing it but because it is Chimamanda you want to lament.”
@JoolzDenby: “Why is it a surprise a rich entitled woman who has little contact with people unlike herself buys a baby from a poor woman rather than have the risk and ‘hassle’ herself. It’s commonplace now.”
@Poppy_yyyyyyyy: “Everything I’ve read by her suggests that she’s hugely aware of class/ race/ sex issues. I thought she was better than that. More fool me.”
