Human rights commission congratulates Tinubu

The International Human Rights Commission in Nigeria has felicitated President Bola Tinubu on his 73rd birthday, acknowledging his dedication to repositioning the country and guiding Nigeria through challenges toward prosperity.
This is as the IHRC raised concerns about Nigeria’s security challenges, citing the mob action on the northern travellers in Edo State and the execution of three Nigerian soldiers by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
In a statement by its Head of Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria, Dr. Duru Hezekiah, the IHRC urged citizens to pray for divine guidance, unity, and healing, reaffirming President Tinubu’s commitment to democratic gains, economic recovery, and national cohesion.
The statement made available to Sunday PUNCH read partly, “As President Tinubu marks his 73rd birthday, Nigerians expect him to continue working tirelessly to address the country’s challenges, particularly the insecurity concerns that threaten the nation’s stability and progress.”
