JUST IN: EFCC declares Aisha Achimugu wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a wanted notice for Aisha Achimugu, the Managing Director/CEO of Felak Concept Group.

In a statement posted on the commission’s social media accounts, Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, stated: “Achimugu, 51, hails from Ofu Local Government Area in Kogi State. Her last known address is 6C, Rudolf Close, Maitama, Abuja.”

The EFCC is requesting anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact any of its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.

Achimugu, known for her socialite status, made headlines in January 2024 when she hosted an extravagant seven-day 50th birthday celebration on the Caribbean Island of Grenada. The event attracted high-profile figures from Nigeria’s entertainment industry, including a governor.

Following the party, the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS) reminded Achimugu to file her annual tax returns.

In a post on X, the FCT-IRS wrote: “The FCT-Internal Revenue Service extends our warmest birthday wishes to you! May this special day be filled with joy and blessings. Remember to fulfill your tax obligations by filing your annual tax returns.”
