His release was confirmed by Biodun Aderohunmu, the national secretary of the youth council, on Saturday.
Olajuni was kidnapped while traveling to Abuja for a meeting. The kidnappers had initially demanded a ransom of N100 million and two tricycles for his freedom.
Earlier, in response to the abduction, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun had dispatched the Intelligence Response Team to assist in securing Olajuni’s release after a distress video surfaced, showing the Afenifere Youth leader pleading for financial assistance while being held at gunpoint.
