Kano Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, Endorsed for House of Reps Bid

As the 2027 general elections approach, various groups have endorsed Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa for the Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado/Tofa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Sanusi, the Director General of Media and Publicity to Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has gained support from organizations citing his contributions to education and youth development.

The Dawakin Tofa Academic Forum (DAF) and the Dawakin Tofa Education Trust Fund (DETFund) recently recognized him for his efforts in advancing education.

“We are proud to support Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa,” a spokesperson for one of the endorsing groups said. “He has demonstrated a strong commitment to the people of Kano State, and we believe he is the right person to represent us at the federal level.”

Other community and political groups have also declared their support for his candidacy, emphasizing his engagement with grassroots issues.

“Sanusi is a leader who understands the aspirations of his people. His track record in governance and media makes him the ideal candidate to drive development in Dawakin Tofa, Rimin Gado, and Tofa,” a representative said.

At a recent gathering, supporters—including family members and friends—acknowledged his contributions and urged him to contest the upcoming elections.
