Actor and media personality Patrick Doyle has reacted to the popular video of Sophia Egbueje getting her Lamborghini.
This comes after Sophia showcased her new car, which followed a backlash from a video where she accused Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy of not buying her the Lamborghini he promised.
In reaction to the online fuss, Patrick Doyle took to Facebook to scold Sophia Egbueje for proudly displaying her “600 million Naira car” and a wristwatch worth about $150k (around ₦229 million).
He emphasized that those who are congratulating her, knowing her dubious source of income, are being foolish.
Patrick Doyle noted that her extended family could be struggling financially, yet she decided to buy expensive things and show them off on social media.
This has led to mixed reactions, with some people agreeing with him and others criticizing his opinion.
Read what Doyle wrote and reactions to it below:
“She boasted about the value of her wrist watch and flaunted a 600 million Naira car. The combined value of both items is in the range of 650 to 750 million Naira. Some half wits were impressed and effusively congratulated her as she smiled and flaunted both items. As if we hadn’t heard about her shameful means of livelihood. Meanwhile, I can bet that there are members of her extended who are going through a tough time. The romanticising of iniquity has become the stock in trade of dim wits amongst us.”

@abiola_timothy: “Like who gave the right to judge her? Was your wife the first woman you ever slept with? Why did you think you are better than her? The member of her family should go and work for their money, if she give them money, is because she chose to, not an obligation, you people are so opinionated.”
@so_soocollection: “Oga you do not have right to remove her speck when you have logs in your own eyes, because e sure me say you have girls you have been sponsoring while being married. Go clear that log from your eyes first.”
