Renowned celebrity stylist and fashion illustrator Mimi Okeren has set the fashion world alight with his latest masterpiece—an opulent gown that not only showcases impeccable craftsmanship but also comes with a jaw-dropping price tag.

According to Okeren, the custom-designed gown, modeled by a muse known as Flora, took over four months to complete and cost an astonishing N10 million.

The exquisite dress boasts a striking combination of gold and blue, adorned with intricate beadwork, structured puffed sleeves, and a corset-style bodice. Layered tiered panels add depth and movement, while delicate floral appliqués grace the hemline. Completing the regal ensemble, a matching gele elevates the overall look to one of sheer elegance.

Staying true to his bold fashion aesthetic, Okeren himself donned an equally eye-catching outfit. He wore a tailored grey and gold asymmetrical jacket with blue accents, featuring detailed embellishments on one shoulder and a draped blue sash. Paired with gold trousers, blue footwear, and a matching cap, his ensemble seamlessly blended traditional elements with modern sophistication.

In an exclusive statement, Okeren shared insights into the creative vision behind his ambitious design, further cementing his reputation as a trailblazer in the fashion industry.

“This dress was inspired by a wallflower pattern I had initially seen. I decided to translate it into a custom beaded fabric, draped on Flora as styled by me. The fabric was hand-painted and beaded. It took more than 4 months to achieve this, together with my partner, Ovens,” he said.

The intricate hand-beading and detailed embroidery involved in the craftsmanship take a lot of time, which accounts for the astonishing price.

“It cost 10 million naira to style this outfit on her,” he added.

Mimi Okeren took to Instagram to unveil the outfits, captioning a video post:

“On this very day, I, @mimiokeren1, King of Creativity, have decided to start this beautifully crafted, amazing journey of duo styling with this super-talented and beautiful queen @mizgabbie in good health, blessings, and greatness. Cheers to the newest duo on this gram.”
