Water Relief: WAMY Donates N10m Borehole to Kano Sharia Commission

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has donated a borehole project worth N10 million to the Kano State Sharia Commission to address water scarcity. The project was launched on Thursday.

In a statement, Comrade Musa A. Ibrahim (Best Seller), Acting Director of Public Enlightenment at the commission, said the project is part of WAMY’s commitment to serving humanity.

Sheikh Ali Danabba, speaking on behalf of the commission, expressed gratitude to WAMY. “The construction of a 150-meter borehole is a commendable and welcoming idea,” he said.

“We struggled with water scarcity, so far everyone cried for help, but WAMY has made a great effort to provide water at a cost of over N10 million.”

Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji, Chairman of the Commission, acknowledged WAMY’s efforts and called on others to follow suit.

WAMY Chairman, Hisham Abdussalam, reiterated the organization’s commitment to supporting Islam and Muslims worldwide.
