Condolence: Galadiman Kano’s Death a Painful Loss to All – Rep. Kabiru Rurum

The Federal Lawmaker representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, has expressed sorrow over the passing of Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sanusi.

In a condolence message signed by Rurum, he extended sympathies to the family of the deceased, the Kano Emirate Council, and the people of Kano State, stating that the loss was not just for his immediate family but for the entire emirate and beyond.

“The late Galadiman Kano was a pillar of wisdom, tradition, and leadership, whose service to the Kano Emirate spanned over six remarkable decades,” Rurum said. “His dedication to upholding the values and heritage of the emirate remains an inspiration to many.”

Rurum noted his long service to the Kano Emirate, from his appointment as Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida in 1959 to his eventual elevation as Galadiman Kano.

“His journey reflected his commitment to the development of Kano and its people,” the lawmaker remarked. “His demise is a great loss, not only to his family and the emirate but to all who valued his guidance and contributions.”

He offered prayers for the deceased, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while also praying for strength for his family, the Emirate Council, and the Kano community.

Rurum also extended his condolences to Abdullahi Abbas, the APC chairman, and other close associates of the late Galadiman Kano.

“May Allah also grant his family, the Kano Emirate Council, and the entire people of Kano the strength to bear this loss,” he concluded.
