- VDM questioned the significance of their appearances at events.
Nollywood actor and matchmaker Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has addressed recent criticism from social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM).
VDM had earlier taken to social media to criticize Lege over videos showing him alongside Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu. He questioned the relevance of their appearances at various events, urging Lege to use his proximity to the president’s son to facilitate meaningful discussions with industry leaders and experts focused on national development.
The online commentator further suggested that Lege should leverage his relationship with Seyi Tinubu to create opportunities for others. He warned that it would be unfortunate if, at the end of President Tinubu’s administration, there was no significant evidence of Lege using that access to benefit the public.
In response, Lege Miami shared that he has, in fact, been collaborating with Seyi on youth-focused initiatives. He revealed that he had submitted 500 CVs to the federal government through Seyi Tinubu last year as part of efforts to create job opportunities.
He also noted that various empowerment programs aimed at supporting young Nigerians have been rolled out, affirming that his relationship with Seyi goes beyond social outings and is geared toward real impact.
“I collect 500 CV from the youth last year which I summit to federal government through seyi Tinubu,” he said in the video.
As evidence, Lege posted a video featuring some youths who were praising Seyi Tinubu.
He also seemed to make a subtle dig at VDM by asking when he plans to return to the country.
Sharing the video on his page, Lege Miami wrote in the caption:
“To proof you wrong my lovely brother @verydarkblackman.”
