Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu, popularly known as Shina Rambo, has addressed and denied rumors surrounding a viral video from 2023, which showed him selling clothes on the floor of a market in Enugu. The video sparked speculation that he was involved in selling second-hand clothes, commonly known as okrika.

In a recent interview with media personality Patience Yisa, Madu firmly refuted these claims, clarifying that he is not a dealer in okrika. He explained that the clothes seen in the video were not necessarily second-hand just because they were displayed on the floor.

Madu emphasized that the context of the video was misinterpreted, and he warned people not to jump to conclusions based on misleading visuals. He wanted to set the record straight and put an end to the ongoing rumors about his involvement in selling okrika.

Madu said, “First of all, I don’t sell okrika. Those clothes I was filmed selling are not necessarily okrika because they were on the floor. I don’t sell okrika. I import from I sell from the U.S.

“I have multiple shops and I have boys who sell for me. I don’t do big man, I go to the field to sell by myself. I have a lot of people selling for me. I have different shops. I monitor my business. I have been doing this business for over 30 years.”
